Parathyroid surgery

Mr Moorthy undertakes over 50 parathyroid procedures per year.

Procedures undertaken include targeted procedure, when an abnormal parathyroid gland has been identified and 4 gland parathyroid explorations, when an adenoma has not been identified on pre-operatie imaging.

Mr Moorthy participates in the Endocrine surgery Audit managed by the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons (BAETS)
